Hi, this is Ty, my stagename is Tymeansthankyou. I am a Chinese-American music producer based in San Francisco, California, United States. Currently located in València, Spain, as a Music Production master candidate in Berklee Valencia Campus.
As a first generation immigrant, I strive to bring modern Chinese culture to the Western context. With 8 years of sound-crafting, I developed my own sounds combining modern music production with sounds from Chinese pop music in its golden era (1970s to 2000s) that didn’t make it to the Western World.
Knowing my roots and sounds I appreciated throughout my childhood to early adulthood, I work with my heart and ambition to bridge two sides of the world and provide the most unique sound-crafting for artists from all over the world to work on.
